Previously, he was founding GM of a global digital learning business for Pearson Education and an Operating Partner managing education-related investments for Sansome Partners.

Over a 15 year period, Zack built, and as CEO led, Industrial Training International, delivering crane, rigging and heavy equipment training to Fortune 500 companies, SMBs and government customers. After selling ITI to Interplay Learning, a leading simulation-based skilled trades training firm, Zack became Interplay's SVP of Strategy.  More recently, he has served as fractional executive to industrial firms and startups.
