For experienced techs at journey or master level ready to level up, and assumes real field experience running solo service calls. Covers multi-fault diagnosis on live A/C systems, advanced heating diagnostics, cold-weather heat pump troubleshooting, and the senior-tech skills needed to lead complex calls and coach junior technicians.

Every item is demonstrated on real equipment and signed off by an instructor, then tested in the written and practical exam on the final day. Scope of work and supervision still follow your own standards and local licensing.

Combined charge, airflow and electrical issues with non-ideal superheat and subcooling readings.

Perform advanced heating diagnostics
Combustion and airflow interaction faults, staged-ignition problems on multi-stage furnaces, and combustion-analyzer-driven decisions.

Troubleshoot cold-weather heat pump faults
Defrost faults, reversing-valve issues and low-charge symptoms in heat mode.

Confidently lead complex service calls
Resolve escalated callbacks with measurement-backed verification, and coach junior techs.
