Covers industrial workplace safety and PPE, industrial electrical and motor controls, and plant-floor automation safety and industrial piping inspection.

Every item is demonstrated on real equipment and signed off by an instructor, then tested in the written and practical exam on the final day. Scope of work and supervision still follow your own standards and local licensing.

Participants earn a Train America qualification validating job readiness for entry-level industrial maintenance work.

Work safely on the plant floor with proper PPE

LOTO, confined-space awareness, machine guarding, arc-flash awareness and welding-safety basics.

Test and troubleshoot industrial electrical and motor controls

Contactors, overload relays, motor starters, ladder-logic diagrams and basic PLC status indicators.

Apply plant-floor automation safety

E-stops, interlocks and light curtains.


[04]

Inspect industrial piping

Threaded, flanged and welded, for leaks, corrosion and support issues.
